Colorectal Cancer Education & Screening
This year's annual event will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2019 from 1 to 3 p.m. in the hospital's Anthony M. Lombardi Education Conference Center. The event is free, but seating is limited; pre-registration is required by calling 724-258-1333. A distinguished panel of physicians and medical professionals discuss the importance of early detection and regular exams. Each participant receives a free take-home colorectal screening kit. MVH offers new wide-angle 3D mammogram for earlier cancer detection
Monongahela Valley Hospital is continuing the fight against breast cancer with innovative technology designed to overcome barriers to detection. MVH has installed a new 3D mammography unit, the same technology used at HealthPlex Imaging, making it easier to find even the smallest cancers earlier with greater accuracy. Read the full article.
